Learn How to Count Calories - Step 5 - Tracking Your Daily Caloric Intake

Welcome to the last step of your 5-step How to Count Calories guide. I bet each of you have finally formulated plans circling around your daily calorie targets. If you’ve done that, then good! You’re almost done. If not, then take your time. This is not a race and we need to make sure we do things the right way.

So if you’re ready for the fifth and final step, then it’s all about tracking your daily caloric intake. Since you’ve done the planning and done the implementing, it’s time to do the evaluating. How many calories were you able to eat today?

Well, if you try to recall everything you ate today on the top of your head, you’d probably miss some items and end up with a bad answer. The most effective way to keep track is to keep a Food Journal. This journal can be the size of your palm, so you can carry it anywhere and write down things on the go. Write about all the things you ate and by how much. However, if you have high-end phones, PDAs, or other gadgets, you can use them as well.

At the end of the day, open up your journals (or phones) and calculate how much calories you were able to eat. Did you fall on or below your daily caloric intake target? If yes, then congratulations! Make sure to keep it up! If no, then don’t worry. We’re still starting out. They say the best start is to begin at the bottom and end on top. It would be bad if it were the other way around.

If you exceeded your daily target and ended up with more calories than you intended, try to review the things you’ve eaten today. You will probably find some things you can live the day without. Like a cupcake, a glass of soda, pieces of fries, a bag of chips, or other things that shouldn’t be in your diet. Try to keep a mental note to avoid these foods the next day.

If you’ve lost all the junk food in your diet but you’re still exceeding limits, try to minimize your eating. For example, instead of eating 1 serving of potatoes per meal, try half a serving. Apply this concept in other things too.

Just remember, when your cutting things out of your diet, start with the non-healthy and calorie packed food first. So if it’s a choice between your usual chocolate dessert for dinner and your morning apple, lose the chocolate.

All these calorie counting may be hard at first. But if you put your mind into it and integrate it in your system for 1 week, you’ll find that it’s human nature to count calories. You probably won’t remember the time when you didn’t count them. By now, you should be an expert when it comes to how to count calories.

  1. The foods you eat impact a wide range of areas of your life including your weight, your risks for disease and the health and regularity of your digestive system. Tracking the foods you eat can play an important role in ensuring that your diet is keeping you on track for leading a healthy lifestyle.

When tracking your food, it's important to also track serving size and calories. Tracking your calories gives you a full record of the estimated amount of calories you consume each week. This allows you to stay accountable to your diet as you can look back and see exactly what you did right on the weeks that you meet your fitness loss goals, or see what you did wrong if you are not meeting the goals you have set for yourself.

  2. the picture in the article has a point. BURN CALORIES, NOT ELECTRICITY. TAKE THE STAIRS! it's true and has a positive impact on our health. So if your room is in the 2nd floor or 3rd floor. it's better if you take the stairs. But for me if it's in the 5th floor - up, I'll end up complaining, and have a grimacing face then take the escalator or the elevator. hahahaha.

It's also a good strategy that if you're cutting things out of your diet, you should start with the unhealthy foods first... even though changing your habit is not an easy thing to do... Just think of it: It's for your own good.
    :D

  3. THE PICTURE GOES TO SHOW THAT WE SHOULD ALL GET BACK TO THE BASICS.
-Dont do things instantly! theres no need to rush. LOSING WEIGHT TAKES TIME AND EFFORT, like eating fastfoods, drinking dietary pills, and the like.
-EXERCISE MANUALLY, use your initiative. save electricity in all the gadgets you have for losing weight and money from the gym, and you can save your weight problems. hhahahahah

  4. Thanks @YO'MAMA for this informative article! :)

And now, i end up doing and planning nothing! haha. I don't plan to cut my calorie intake though. 'cause if by chance i would, I would be a "soulless veggy" by now. haha :D But i do plan to add just a little bit of my calorie intake. :D

@Ms. Nuez: I'm totally with you :D Losing weight should not waste money, time, and effort. Losing weight could possibly be done in your own backyard ( if you're really determined to). We should totally go back with the basics, when losing weight. IT'S THE BEST WAY! And it's more PRACTICAL, i guess. :D

  5. HAHA. my IMPRACTICAL VIEW of this technique is now solved. well, jotting it down might help and reviewing it might also help. but all of these will still depend on us. on how we will inculcate in ourselves the essence of calorie counting. HAHAHA. epic. :DD

    ReplyDelete
  6. okay. for me, it's not that necessary to count my caloric intake but just to put in mind the foods i have eaten for that particular day. in that simple way i guess, it's somewhat conscious about the food i have eaten if it's the proper food or not! :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. As for me, I don't necessarily try listing down the foods that I usually ate during that day because for me its quite a burden but still even though i usually don't try writing them but at least sometimes I try to remember what I eat because for me its just a matter of regulation and discipline. :))

@Ms Nuez, I think you have got the point that losing weight takes time and effort and that we need also to be determined about the things that we are going to do so that we can create decisions without any doubt and not just wasting time. :))

Thanks to Yo'Mama for this interesting article, it really is worth sharing for everybody.

  8. yeah, keep tract. but for me, honestly, sometimes i care about Mr.Calories and after sometime, I don't. :) Simple, I can blame myself for eating too much, I have read the articles yet slowly, it registers, I slowly cut unhealthy foods from my food plan, and maybe eat soda crackers rather than junk foods in an assignment working session, that way, I could save myself from eating too much. Let's just be aware of our food intake, we know what's right and wrong, we just tend to limit ourselves in habits and oldways. LET'S FACE THE FACT, you dont only save your body by avoiding this but also saving your money for good. CHEERS! :) yes to water.

  9. In my case, even though I want to jot down the foods I have eaten I still fail to do it sometimes, maybe because my mind is too occupied 'bout school, tests, assignments and other stuff. I'm not really into junk foods but I'm trying to control my carbo intake. Even though its hard, I'm doing my best to manage it...hehehehe.

  10. burning calories is trully not applicable to me. :)) seriuosly, for you guys out there! honestly, eating the food you love to the extent that you are already unstoppable is HEAVEN! we got this attitude that once we EAT we really EAT disregarding the diet and plans of losing weight and that jotting down of calories. :)) But that is if you are really a food maniac.

on the other hand, if you are really determined about losing your weight and conscious to your size you really have to be alarmed about the food you put to your mouth. :) Start jotting down and have a new and lighter menu everyday that is suitable for your diet. this article could serve as a guide!

@Yo' Mama: Great job! indeed it is informative :)

  11. jotting down the food i take? nah, it's too much hassle.. but i'll try to remember what i eat.
@ms. nuez, i totally agree with you that losing weight is matter of time and effort. we can always do exercising without too much expense like walking. for us to limit the food we take, we need to eat 5 meals a day to prevent too much cravings as what the previous article mentioned.
@ms marturillas don't let your mind be excessively occupied 'bout many things, try to relax and take a pause so you won't fail to remember your health. always remember that your health is your treasure to survive and experience the beauty of life God has given upon you.

  12. I agree with you Ms. Apolinar. When we start eating, we will only think and care about eating... Unavoidable temptations. Anyway, if you are really determined about something, noone and nothing can stop you. I in the other hand, am not determined to loose weight, so temptations, delicacies, and mouth watering feasts... be ready. Hehehehe. Back to the topic, I don't actually think I'd be able to "jot" down my calorie in take. One, it's a hassle and it's too tiring, two, I don't even have a journal/diary much less a list of my calorie, third, I'm to busy with other stuff
and lastly, I just don't care about my calories... Hehehehe.

@ms. Aparece, every tempting food you see are also God's gift and treasures to us... Who are we to resist them? Hehehehe

    ReplyDelete
  13. thanks for the support guys. HAHAHA. to do the weight loss effectively (okay, based on my own experience) , I do exercise in private places cz i think i feel like more determined when i do it all by myself. cant face people while doing exercises in public areas, makes me feel like im too desperate. but dont mind me, doing exercise with friends is more fun to lose those calories up. go go go! :)

    ReplyDelete
  14. ms. nuez: haha! it's nice to know that you're one of the people who are practicing the proper way to lose weight which is EXERCISING! i hope you'll continue doing that but be sure that you're aware about the calorie content of the food that you eat because exercise is no use if you keep on eating foods with too much calories. :))

meanwhile, if we dig deeper into the picture shown above, i can say that the stairs symbolizes/explains that losing weight should be done ONE STEP AT A TIME. which means, it is a step-by-step process. and in order to achieve it, we should have determination within ourselves and follow what ms. nuez said, don't do things instantly. so we need to be patient while doing the best possible ways to lose weight with a healthy living. :)

  15. it's choosing time.!!

woah, its not easy to rule out foods we love to eat. but if we are to be health conscious, i guess we should start disciplining ourselves to live a healthy life.

its a great sacrifice to leave old habits but lets get used to a new and healthy life...

a good article indeed, its good to track down our foods but i guess not all are obedient enough to take down notes of every food we eat, especially when we're enjoying it too much that it slips at the top of our head.

@ms. Daguman, maybe it's your way to have shortcut in tracking down the foods you eat, but whats the point in remembering these foods when you don't care about the calories? just a curious thought of me. :)

all these articles in counting calories are here to help us to be specific and accurate about our food intake and help us maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. :)

  16. After reading step 5, I came to realize that we don't have to train like an Olympic athlete, who has a very strict diet but we may eat like a nutritionist or sleep all day long to enjoy the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. The bottom line or the secret is in repeating a chosen healthy pattern as a part of your daily or weekly activities. After all a healthy lifestyle is a way of life.

@Yo'mama thanks for this article. It helps a lot:)

I agree Ms. Aparece, let's top for a while, and think about things that matters, especially food coz it matters to me:D

  17. @Ms. Nuez: In short, there's no shortcuts in losing weight. As from the previous articles, Discipline is the key to a healthy lifestyle:)

@Ms. Teves: We must not think that listing down the foods we're eating is a burden. Someday we'll realize that we did is all worth it.

  19. @Ms. Aparece...i agree with you,,,jotting down the food we eat in a single day is just so much hassle especially with our current schedule..as nursing students..we can just use our memory to take down notes for us...that why God gave us these brains right?

@ms. Buencaloloy..its true..not only do you obtain a good and healthy body..by losing weight..but you save money too :))..you can save it and but it on other necessities..

Currently listening to the radio and guess what the topic is about? haha LOSING WEIGHT! :)) i guess the most of the people in the world..share my problem..

Acording to the radio from the websitie: www.waystoloseweightadvisor.com

    1. Don’t ride the lift. It is better to take the stairs and burn those extra calories (approximately 300 calories in 30 minutes). Taking the stairs will also improve your heart condition.----> like the picture above implies :))

    2. Park your car farther away.---> that is if you have a car:)

    3. Avoid the food section. It’s best to veer away from junk foods and fill your shopping cart with vegetables, cereals and fruits instead.

    4. Keep a weight loss journal. Making notes will let you see your progress (or failure) with regard to achieving your goal weight.---> like the article says :)

    5. Cook your own meals. Processed meals often have preservatives and unhealthy kinds of fats. You will also be assured of the freshest ingredients if you were the one who prepared your meal.---> but be sure the ingredients you use are healthy :))

    6. Be able to define serving size. A normal serving size should be the size of your palm with every food group already represented.---> i'll try that! :))

    7. Take it easy on breads and anything white. If you can avoid bread altogether, then you would do very well. Replace your white bread and white pasta with whole grain food products. Whole grain foods have fiber in them and less calories.----> oh no!! i love bread! who doesn't?

    8. Say NO to soda. One of the fastest ways to lose weight is to shun soda from your diet. Substitute it with water so that you will have a substantial cut on the amount of sugar that you consume. This may be easy to say but hard to practice so if you can’t live without soda, you might want to replace it with freshly squeezed juice instead.---> so no, no to Coca Cola, Pepsi, Royal...or etc..water is still best

    9. Have your salad without salad toppings or dressings. Leafy green salads are low-cal and healthy unless you start covering them with croutons and salad dressings.

    10. Drink a glass of water prior to eating any meal. Do this 15-20 minutes before your meal, though, because you don’t want to dissolve necessary gastric juices for proper digestion. Doing this will greatly reduce hunger pangs.---> still like the article says :))

    11. Eat 5 small meals, not 3 big ones. The secret to losing weight is to eat more often but in small quantities. Eat snacks in between the regular meals so that you won’t go hungry insomuch that you can literally eat a horse on the next meal.

  20. @Ms Nuez: me too, i don't like to be seen while i'm 'exercising' or something (hahaha!) coz you know, not that it has something to do with public shame or something...the stares of other people are just damn awkward. but hell, if i want to achieve a perfect bod, i'd have to be ready to do just about ANYTHING.

one very sad thing about me is that my friends aren't 'fat'. so exercise with them wouldn't necessarily hurt, but it wouldn't do much for them either. forever alone!!! can't ask them to go and run the tracks with me. :'(

    ReplyDelete
  21. i guess, the last step wont be that hard.. i mean as long as your mind is focused..you'll be on the right track of your diet and then you will really be determined to lose weight..The last step is more on easy way to never forget that your on your diet process..and its to list all your calorie in take everyday so you will be able to know if you either exceed on the limit or you have just eaten enough then you can make adjustments..

ms.Ocon: i agree with you.. having a diet is not that easy at first..So, it must really be a step-by-step process.. a long the way you you will be learning a lot of things and when you reach on your goal you can say that it is worth it because you'll gain a lot of benefits then you can live a healthier life..

ms.Aparece: why will you think of it as hassle when its for your own good?? maybe, at first you will feel tired of taking down your in takes but once you'll see the benefits you yourself will be motivated continuing it and you can really say its worth it..

ms.apolinar: on my own opinion, i think you don't need to involve yourself in this..because your too thin..no offense, peace!.but still this articles can help you in a sense that it will make you aware on facts like this..

yo'mama..good job! you 5 steps on learning how to count calories are very helpful to all readers! great;) keep it up!

  22. Listing the food you ate everyday? LOL. this is so impossible for me. I have lots of things to write which is way more important then this. :( so sad, that's a nursing student's reality! Well, maybe I am just not yet hopelessly into this weight loss program that I think I am not that very eager to follow these steps. But I know sooner, hopefully after i graduate, I will be checking this site again , I will read it, and will be deciding to FOLLOW it...

For now, I would not deprive myself with the delicious and tempting food around me. I'm still young and I must enjoy my life and enjoy my Favorite FOOD. :))

So, Calories...you're free to love me too but not forever coz' I'll be hating you in the future! HAH HAH.

    ReplyDelete
  23. finally! the last step! this article actually sums up all the steps. so with discipline, determination and perseverance, one (who is overweight or weight-conscious) will able to accomplish all these steps.

it's true that some may not be able to follow the last step, which is jotting down the food you eat everytime. everyone has their own things to do, but if you are the kind of person who has their head really, ultimately focused on losing weight for the good of their own health, then you should think of prioritizing this.

    ReplyDelete
  24. every tempting food we see is, i believe, not always what God has in stored for us ms. traces. some foods, as we know, are VERY unhealthy. healthy food made by God are transformed to evil delicacies by men. >:) the most amazing gift/treasure God gave us is the gift of life and the gift of free will. so resisting the man-made temptations is entirely up to us. :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. for me, writing down every food you have placed into your mouth in 5 meals makes you look like a very OC person. hahaha. if you ask me, i don't like to do this because i'm not a very "list-down-everything" kind of person. if your smart enough, and you know in your heart and soul (char) that the food in front of you, waiting for you to devour is filled with calories that would take you hours to burn then don't touch it and just walk away. go eat an apple instead. this might be hard but at least you dont have to keep writing stuff down.

@ms. roferos, i'm sorry but i disagree with you when you said that LOSING WEIGHT should not waste money, time, and effort. because losing weight needs time and effort whether you like it or not. exercise takes time and effort and wastes and awful lot of time. resisting your favorite fast food chicken takes a whole lot of effort. just saying :D

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Ms. Traces: i really disagree that tempting foods are unavoidable. i believe that it is made for us to prove to ourselves that we are the MASTERS of our body. let us not let those foods be our masters. i think that we have all the control to all within us. don't let them blind you. :)

in my own idea, listing the food you ate isn't really necessary if in the first place you limit every food you put inside your mouth. if you are always conscious and you always regulate the amount of foods you eat, then why would you tire yourself from listing all those foods if in fact, it is always in the right amount your body needs.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Honestly, I'm really very lazy jotting down notes on what are the food I've eaten the whoooooolleee day. I don't have any plans to count my calorie intake, maybe because I'm not obese and at the same time, I'm not having a diet. Really Yo Mama, I'll follow the 5 steps you've given to us when I get fat and there's no chance for me to get slim again. I'll really follow those! But for now, I'm still enjoying my life eating those foods my mouth really wanted. I always wanna get full. :) As of now, I'm still stressed, I still wanna eat everything I wanted! :) Anyway, thank you Yo Mama for the articles you've shared to us on how to lose weight as well as our calorie intake! It's such a big help! :)

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Ms. Tan

I guess your idea is more or less right.

But I have to say, not every food you limit and regulate doesn't always have the right amount your body needs.
Much better to know first your BMR before assuming that what you've been doing in the first place is always right.

  29. Jotting down the food you ate in a day is actually a great idea. By the end of the day, you have a list of the food you ate and then you can start counting the calories. But just like A. Rosales said, it makes you look OC. And when you think about it, it's kind of impractical. Just imagine yourself jotting down the food in front of you before you eat it. For me, it would be a lot better to just be aware of what food you eat and determine for yourself if you should eat more or less. I'm pretty sure everyone knows how much food they had eaten, so it is up to them if they persevere to lose weight or to give up and start eating whatever they want to eat.

And yes, C. Ocon, losing weight is a step-by-step process, which is the reason why the articles that we have been reading these past few days is made into steps. There is no shortcut to losing weight, it requires following steps, time and effort. Plus perseverance and commitment.

By the way, I heard of a person who weighs how much food she eats instead of counting the calories. I think that is a lot easier and less of a hassle. I personally think that it's effective seeing as she is not underweight or overweight. The only down side is she brings a mini-weighing scale wherever she goes. >_<

undeniably, losing weight requires certain steps to follow. And doing it with such commitment is a worthwhile sacrifice.

If ever someone is planning to do the shortcut type of losing weight, take my advice dear, never do it or else you would end up gaining more weight. :D

  32. @ms alpuerto, jotting down the foods i ate is a hassle for me, and why should i write down those foods if God has given me brains to remember.
@ms traces, yeah right.. food for us is heaven.
@ms bispo thank you for the information i'll try to remember that.
i agree with you ms salera, being committed to your development is worth sacrificing for because it is still for your own benefit.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Just like Ms.Cerna, I really find it tiresome to jot down the food you ate for the whole day though it really helps in knowing how much calories you are taking and if you are having more than what you should only have..
But it wouldn't be effective if you don't discipline yourself..
    also remember to slow down..
don't rush yourself or else you might see yourself waking up in a hospital the next day.. You wouldn't want that to happen, would you?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm with those people who says they find it tiresome or hassle to jot down the food they ate. I think it only depends on the person who is willing and on the go to lose weight. Not all people can follow this step most especially that we are unique individuals :). To Mr. Gervacio, you said if your room is in the second floor it would be okay for you to use the stairs but if it was in the 5th floor, it is still okay, why dont you try this.. Take the stairs until you reach the 2nd floor and then after take the elevator for the rest of the floors. At least you still lose some calories. It's just a matter of disclipline guys. Again, it depends on the person's personality if they want to do step number 5. I agree with Ms. Suarez's contradiction to Ms. Traces' comment about God's gift. That's all

    ReplyDelete
  35. for those guys who think that jotting down our food intake is a hassle, i honestly think that it's a great idea. not that i would do it myself, but yeah, if i could accommodate it into my daily sched then why not? hahaha. heyyy! it doesn't make you OC okay, i mean, if it's really effective then who cares right? as Ms. Salera has put it, the sacrifices are worthwhile. and it's not even a sacrifice, it's just merely writing down the food you take in...sorta like maintaining a 'food diary'. the odds of losing weight by maintaining this kind of writing habit is good. it actually keeps you on track. and guys, about that memory thing, it doesn't always work. especially in our case as nursing students, we are almost ALWAYS preoccupied by different things. are you sure that you would care about remembering your last meal? we can't even remember the day of the month almost every time! you have to admit, writing down stuff is a good idea. :))

    ReplyDelete
  36. ms. laguda: yes I agree that WRITING DOWN STUFF is a GREAT IDEA .....but WRITING DOWN FOODS THAT WE ATE? .....IT'S SUCH A TIRING THING TO DO!...i think that it's not necessary to list down things as long as you make sure what you're eating is a healthy one and not some unhealthy food out there..

    ReplyDelete
  37. I have to disagree with you @Ms. Laguda. I don't think it is a great idea. It is so hassle. Hahahaha. I know sacrifices are worthwhile but I know that in reality, you can't do it. You'd be so diligent with it during first days, but trust me, you'd get tired with it. I don't find it very helpful when you always count your caloric intake. Count, eat, count, eat. Waaah, hassle. As for me, all you need is to discipline and control yourself. You don't have to jot down and count, just control. It would really help.

    ReplyDelete
  38. definitely ms. alpuerto and ms. li. and through this step-by-step process, it would be easier for all of us to lose weight as we go along the way. so remember: there are no shortcuts in life, even the smallest things we do must be done properly in an orderly manner. :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. I personally think that jotting down whatever you eat would be a hassle. I mean, think about it. You always bring a small notebook with you. You jot down whatever food you eat before or after eating. As Ms. Rosales has said, you will seem like an OC person. I understand that losing weight takes sacrifice, determination, discipline and all those other adjectives out there but don't you think jotting down whatever you eat is too much of a hassle?? That's my own opinion anyway. If you really want to jot down whatever you eat, I think there would only be two possible ways in which this would end in. It would be that it would become a habit and a regular thing for you or you would end up getting tired of jotting down and stop. If it becomes a habit, then good for you but if it becomes the latter, I think there are still many other ways to lose weight. :D

    ReplyDelete
  40. Just like those who have commented before me. I find tracking calories by jotting it down is such a hassle. I don't even rewrite my notes even though it seems like they've went through a typhoon or something... :D.

I'm really not into these weight lose steps right now maybe I'll give it a try in the future like ms. Niala. For now, I'm just making sure that I eat as much healthy foods as possible and minimize my intake of "bad" foods especially junk foods...(using step no.4)

Okay, looking at the positive side, uhm... What I like about these are articles collectively, since this will be the last step, is that its not only applicable into losing weight and food but with kinds of stuff not relating to food... :D

    ReplyDelete
  41. hey guys, if you think jotting down notes of what you eat is such a hassle, the author mentioned that we can use gadgets like our cellphones and such.. And since we are always bringing our gadgets with us, i think it would be easier or whatever.. And hey, we can't tell whether it works or not unless we try, right? I think it's a nice idea.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Liz Carnicer

Yeah, i think it would be easier if we do that.. considering that we now live in a world where we can just forget to bring a pen and a paper but never our gadgets xD

    ReplyDelete
  43. @ms. Casals, of course we can't afford to not have a pen and paper BECAUSE, we are STUDENTS. We need them every step of the way and these things helped us get to where we are right now, you see, you just declined to what the photo above implies.

Guys! Don't think that the writing step is hassle, better do it coz' it's a form of exercise! It's like using the stairs! hahahah :D

By doing this, we can save the world! wanna know why? because, we can conserve electricity and BURN calories in our body. For Mother Nature's sake and for us to be healthy and PRODUCTIVE individuals.
and we know how beneficial a productive citizen is to his country and the WORLD where he goes. o_O :)

  45. Ms. Remeticado, it would be easy for you to jot down what you eat if you have maneuvers over it. For there are billions of people in the world, i believe that there are few who've done this (even if it's impossible for us).

Anyway, you don't have to do this for now. Simple thing we can do about diet is to list them together with our daily diaries. :)

  46. This final step is merely tiring and hassle for me especially that I'm a stressed student, but also, maybe because I haven't encountered yet counting calories in every food that I've eaten. It really depends on the person on what he/she'll feel about jotting down food to have the proper diet and avoid too much caloric intake. Making a food journal, remembering what you have eaten is impossible for majority but truly, it can save the one's health. It's possible that everyone can do this, just by doing it step by step slowly-like learning something to achieve one thing. So in this way, we will be an expert on counting and controlling the calories in our food and that's considered a human nature.^^( Why don't we give it a try? there's nothing that we will lose only our weight.LOL)

  47. I don't know if you'll get what you want to achieve if you follow all these steps. It really still depends on the person and on it's body. HELLO?! PEOPLE! JUST ACCEPT WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN OR MADE YOU BECAUSE GOD MADE US IN HIS OWN LIKENESS. HAHA :)

  48. Keeping tracks on what i eat?! this may be beneficial to some ( especially if you are REALLY Committed) but not for me. I find it time consuming and this makes you look OC( as expressed by ms Rosales and ms Li)

Exactly ms Ocon, we need to do it GRADUALLY so our body may be able to cope up to whatever changes might be happening. Afterall, this is not a race. We need to ensure our safety first before anything else.

To ms Remeticado, we can be diligent during the first few days then suddenly it wears off( human nature??) I guess its just a matter of DISCIPLINE AND SELF SATISFACTION...
